About Us

My husband Murray and I met while I was still at school and we married in December 1975. We have no human children just 2 mischievous dogs - Fudge and Millie who believe they are human. We have been involved with fostering since the mid 90s and our foster son has made it to 19! Adoption, particularly from China, was always something we wanted to pursue but our ages and Queensland's legislation prevented us until late in 2004.

In February 2007, we got the green light and on 15 April 2007 our file (along with 6 others) was logged in ... so now we are waiting for the day when we can be united with our child.

The lifestory book was something I had looked forward to creating as I love scrapbooking and have conducted workshops for people on and off over the past few years. I was delighted when I met Leanne with her Journey2You business at International Day 2006 and impressed with the quality of her selection. Over the ensuing months we chatted as I kept her abreast of how we were progressing with our adoption journey. I am pleased we have become friends and that I have been able to continue what she started and that she continues to support me and my Ladybug Dreaming venture!

Rather than attempt to stock everything that is readily available in many other stores, I am trying to offer a select, quality range to help all families, particularly those formed by adoption, scrap those special moments.
